Like many of our clients, both Nikki and Kate have an avid aversion to having their photos taken! Back in 2020 when we set up the brand of Bee More Design it took a lot to pluck up the courage and take many photos (literally 1000's!) to find one we could both agree on for our website. We knew we had to do it.
We knew because we had a strong direction for our brand, and the personal approach to branding is our ethos, and we couldn't give this message to our clients and not practice it ourselves!
In the summer of 2021, the very talented Lisa Wildgoose of Wildgoose Photography suggested a full brand photography shoot for Bee More Design.
The proposal was great, 3 hours would provide us with a huge amount of fresh, on-brand images which we can use for all kinds of purposes, to refresh our website, design portfolios, use on social media, personalise, add graphics to and provide the consistency we were looking for. We agreed.
But 3 hours in front of a camera! Agh! Where? How? What to wear? Neither of us have had a photoshoot like this one since our wedding days! The nerves quickly cut in.
We really did not need to worry. When you book a brand photography shoot with Lisa, she expertly and professionally guides your through the whole process - and even made it a lot of fun with her friendly and approachable personality.
The process began with a consultation (or friendly chat over a cuppa!) to discuss what we were looking for, the message we wanted to convey, our aims and objectives. Kate and I had the same aims, but different ideas and suggestions, all of which Lisa took onboard.
On the day itself the time flew by and we actually all had a lot of fun and laughs, and relaxed into the shoot with different locations, different outfits, props and branded items shot. This meant that we now have a bank of fantastic quality photos that perfectly match our Bee More brand personality.
